Bosch pellet printer at ZIKO Technik – the basis for our materials database of pellets and filaments

3D Printing Materials Database

All plastics we have already processed using the pellet and filament methods – with supplier, designation and properties.

Whether fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, flame-retardant PPS or high-temperature-resistant PEEK – at ZIKO Technik we process a wide range of high-performance and fluoropolymer plastics. The overview below shows our material experience to date across both additive processes and is continuously expanded.

Many of these materials – such as PEEK CF30, PEI 9085, PSU, PVDF (Kynar), PPS-GF40 or PARA-GF50 – can only be additively processed by a handful of service providers. If you need a component made from one of these high-performance or fluoropolymer plastics and are looking for a partner in Pforzheim, the Enzkreis district or Baden-Württemberg: get in touch – including for materials not yet listed here.

33 plastics processable, 27 of them qualified for functional parts · 5 under evaluation

“Qualified for functional parts” is a general classification: a functional part can be a simple clip or a main load-bearing member – the forces and load cases differ fundamentally. We always assess individually whether a material is suitable for your part.

Materials compared

Guide values from the manufacturer datasheets, for some materials determined on printed specimens in the layer direction – in a printed part the values are lower depending on orientation. Approvals and standards refer to the material as stated by the manufacturer. Chemical resistance is our experience-based rating. The best value in each row is highlighted.
