Our calibration laboratory is accredited by the German national accreditation body (DAkkS) to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (registration number D-K-23094-01). That makes us the only DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory for dimensional metrology in the city of Pforzheim and the Enzkreis district – verifiable in the DAkkS register of accredited bodies (as of September 2026). What does DAkkS-accredited mean?

Through accreditation to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the DAkkS (the German national accreditation body) confirms that a laboratory has the technical competence to perform calibrations traceably and in conformity with standards. A DAkkS calibration certificate is internationally recognised under the EA-MRA agreement – unlike a purely in-house factory calibration.

What is the difference between factory and DAkkS calibration?

A factory calibration is carried out and documented according to the laboratory's own internal specifications. A DAkkS calibration is performed within the accredited scope under monitored conditions with defined measurement uncertainties – required when customers, audits or standards demand accredited evidence.
